Privacy Policy

OfferGuard ("we", "us") helps you assess whether a job offer or take-home repository is a scam or contains malware. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it, consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and the GDPR where applicable.

What we process

Scan content. The recruiter text you paste and the files you upload are processed only to produce your scan result. We do not sell this data. Scan content is processed in memory; we do not retain the raw text or files of free, unauthenticated scans after the response is returned.

Usage counts. To enforce the free-tier limit we store a salted, irreversible hash of your IP address with a monthly scan count. This cannot be used to recover your IP.

Optional AI review. When AI-reviewed verdicts are enabled, scan text may be sent to our model provider via a zero-retention gateway solely to generate the verdict. It is not used to train models.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay and Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. We store only your plan status and invoice metadata.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing getdeaddictedllc@gmail.com.

Security

Uploaded code is analysed statically and is never executed. Traffic is served over HTTPS. Despite reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission is perfectly secure.
